报告人简介:

胡光维,新加坡南洋理工大学电子电气工程学院助理教授。2016年和2020年分别在哈尔滨工业大学物理系和新加坡国立大学电子工程系获得学士学位和博士学位,期间在德克萨斯州立大学奥斯汀分校和纽约城市大学任访问学者。在新加坡国立大学和斯坦福大学获得博士后研究工作。2022年入职南洋理工大学。研究方向为纳米光子学,并发展其在光计算、成像、中红外等应用。发表的工作包括Nature 4篇,Nature Nanotechnology/Photonics/Electronics 3篇,Nature Communications 8篇,eLight篇,PRLSci. Adv., etc. 研究成果入选2020年物理世界十大年度发现之一,2021年中国光学十大进展之一,2021OPN年度发现等。曾获2022年美国光学会20周年挑战奖,Winner of Emerging Leader of Optics in 2022 by Journal of Optics Rising Star of Light by Light science and applications,新加坡国立大学校长奖学金等。

 

报告内容摘要

In past several decades, nanophotonics has been developing from in-lab fundamental understandings of our world towards the real applications. In this talk, I will summarize our thinkings on the emerging frontiers of nanophotonics, as well as our efforts in these area. After that, I will highlight recent results in my lab on exploring advanced miniaturized microscopy system, based on computational nanophotonic metasurface, for imaging of transparent bio-samples, air pollutants etc. for healthcare technology, as well as new algorithms for image processing towards real-time super-resolution techniques. Last, I will discuss our thinkings on how to develop and set up the scalable and programmable nanophotonic circuits.
